Join our Wildlife Sanctuary Volunteer Program near Curitiba and play a vital role in preserving Brazil’s endangered species, including mammals, birds, and reptiles.

This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to work closely with diverse wildlife, contributing to conservation efforts and gaining invaluable insights into animal care and environmental preservation. The project mission is to preserve biodiversity, develop effective breeding techniques, and support scientific research in collaboration with renowned Brazilian universities.

How Volunteers Can Contribute

Your hands-on involvement will encompass:

  • Food Preparation and Feeding: Assist in preparing and distributing meals to animals under care.
  • Habitat Maintenance: Participate in cleaning enclosures and ensuring hygienic living conditions.
  • Animal Care and Treatment: Support local staff in administering recovery treatments and daily care routines.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with professionals in daily tasks, adapting to the dynamic needs of the sanctuary.

Please note that specific activities may vary based on current demands and guidance from our technical team.

Your Routine as a Volunteer

Volunteers typically work from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break, and enjoy two to three days off per week.

Our accommodations are designed to host up to six volunteers simultaneously, ensuring a personalized and impactful experience. Given the sanctuary’s remote location, 30 km from Curitiba, evenings are tranquil, providing an excellent opportunity for reflection and personal growth.
